Addendum - Program Specialist Position, Attendance and Enrollment The duties of the Program Specialist consist of attendance messaging for EGUSD, Program Specialist will coordinate and facilitate attendance training for administrators, teachers, and front office staff. They will provide professional development to classified and certificated staff on connecting with families to improve student attendance. They will coordinate and facilitate focused attendance support, Tier 1 interventions to encourage attendance for all students, Tier 2 interventions to support students for whom tier 1 interventions are not working, and Tier 3 interventions to include SARB meetings and truancy court. They are responsible for enrollment (online and in-person) for EGUSD. Program Specialist will support Program Educator with Talking Points for all district employees, collaborate with Talking Points specialist regarding implementation in EGUSD, and coordinate and facilitate Talking Points training for administrators, teacher, and front office staff. Program Specialist will supervise Regional Attendance Improvement Technicians and Program Assistant as well as monitor budget and expenditures related to the LCSSP grant according to program and grant requirements.
