San Luis Coastal Unified School District has a full-time opening for an Elementary Resource Specialist to support students and school teams in providing high-quality special education services. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with staff, families, and students to help ensure student success in inclusive and supportive learning environments. The assigned school site will be determined based on district needs. San Luis Coastal USD serves students across elementary schools in San Luis Obispo, Los Osos, and Morro Bay.

A valid CA Education Specialist Credential (mild to moderate support needs), OR a Resource Specialist Authorization is required. If you are in the process of completing your credential, please provide a letter from your university detailing your current status and expected conferral date. An English Learner authorization is required. Candidates without the English Learner authorization will be required to complete an application for an emergency CLAD certificate upon hire and fulfill the CLAD requirements within one year.
