Position Summary: The Elementary Interventionist provides targeted academic support to students who need additional instruction in literacy and/or mathematics. Working closely with classroom teachers, the interventionist delivers small-group and individualized instruction, monitors student progress, and helps ensure all students meet grade-level expectations. Salary Range: $52,000-$65,000 Qualifications: Valid California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject preferred) Experience teaching at the elementary level Strong knowledge of literacy and/or math intervention strategies Ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction accordingly Strong collaboration and communication skills Key Responsibilities: Instruction & Intervention Provide small-group and/or one-on-one instruction in reading and/or math Implement evidence-based intervention programs and strategies Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Use assessment data to identify students in need of intervention Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data Maintain accurate records of student performance and growth Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers to align intervention with core instruction Participate in student support meetings and contribute to intervention plans Communicate regularly with teachers, administration, and families as needed Program Support: Assist in developing and refining intervention systems and supports Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students Preferred Skills: Experience with RTI/MTSS frameworks Familiarity with structured literacy approaches Experience working with diverse learners, including English learners Work Schedule: Follows the school academic calendar May include scheduled intervention blocks during the school day Reports To: Lower School Director
