Welcome to the Santa Maria-Bonita School District website. We are the largest school district in Santa Barbara County with about 17,500 pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students. Brief Description of Position: Under the supervision of the Director of Pupil Personnel Services, the Program Specialist for Health is responsible for assisting with the administration and evaluation of health programs; to provide technical, consultative, advisory and planning services in the development, implementation and maintenance of these programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree: BSN; California School Nurse Credential Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience; Valid California Administrative Services Credential or equivalent experience/education relevant to the essential duties noted above. Bilingual/Multilingual preferred. Masters in Public Health preferred.
Valid California Class C driver’s license; Active/valid California RN License required; valid School Nurse Credential, and valid California Administrative Services Credential or equivalent experience/education relevant to the essential duties noted above.
