Requirements / Qualifications

Credential Requirements: Must hold a valid California teaching credential (Multiple Subject) or qualify to apply for the appropriate teaching credential. English Language Learner Authorization (CLAD/CTEL, etc.).

The following must be submitted by the Application Deadline Date: 1) Completed On-line Application Form, 2) Letter of Introduction, 3) Professional Resume, 4) Copy of Credential(s) or CTC online verification showing expiration date, 5) Minimum of three recent letters of recommendation, preferably from your immediate supervisor.

Lone Pine is a small rural community located on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountains at the base of Mt. Whitney, approximately 200 miles northeast of Los Angeles on Hwy 395. A wide variety of recreational activities include skiing (Mammoth Lakes is 100 miles north) hiking, mountain climbing, golf, tennis, boating and fishing. The District includes 2 schools: one necessary small high school with 88 students and one elementary/middle school with 194 students.
