NOTICE: This position is posted under both the Certificated and Classified job categories to allow a broader applicant pool. Only one position will be hired. The final job classification (certificated or classified) will depend on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. The Safety Coordinator develops, implements, monitors and evaluates safety and crisis/disaster preparedness programs to ensure safe learning and working environments for Tehama County Department of Education (TCDE) operated schools, classrooms and programs throughout Tehama County. This position provides direct service, technical assistance and coaching to administration and program leaders in TCDE and districts throughout the county to ensure consistent safety practices, regulatory compliance and emergency readiness TCDE pays up to $21,048 per year towards Health & Welfare benefits. We also contribute 2.25% of base salary to a 401a plan.
