Job Summary

Job Summary

Tulare City School District is now accepting applications for the position of Coordinator (Special Education Instruction and Compliance) for the 2026/27 school year. Under the supervision of an Assistant Superintendent and Director, takes responsibility for leading assigned department. Assists in Developing / Implementing / Revising / Interpreting systems and procedures for the purpose of maintaining a smooth and efficient delivery of services. Implements five-year vision and budget plans for assigned department. Works under specific organizational policies, focusing on results to the organizational objectives. Manages / Assists in determining major organizational components, and accompanying funding.

Requirements / Qualifications

M.A. in Education Applicants must possess or obtain a valid California Clear, Preliminary or Intern Administrative Services Credential by July 2026 or be enrolled in an Administrative Services Credential program before the first day of contract. Three (3) to five (5) years increasingly responsible management experience preferred. Five (5) years teaching experience in a variety of grade levels / subjects preferred.
