Requirements / Qualifications

Certificates and Licenses Valid California Driver’s License and evidence of insurability. Completion of California Certified Fire/Life Safety Certification and/or National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) and certification as a programmer of a District utilized fire alarm system must be completed within five months of employment. Four years of skilled maintenance work specializing in low voltage electrical work, including two years at the journeyman level or C7 licensing preferred.
