Job Summary
The elementary PE teacher will work with all elementary students in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade and be responsible for delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to students twice per week. This role includes planning and implementing structured units that build fundamental motor skills, promote physical fitness, and encourage lifelong healthy habits. The teacher oversees and administers required physical fitness testing and monitors student progress. Strong behavior management skills are essential to maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment, along with a consistently positive and encouraging attitude that supports student participation and success.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must possess a valid California Physical Education Single Subject Teaching Credential or Multiple Subject Credential with a Physical Education authorization. Upon being hired, TB Risk assessment/Test and Live Scan Fingerprinting must be completed.
