Job Summary
The Director of Student Support will work under the direct supervision of the Associate Executive Director-Student Services, and will manage the Student Support Department, which includes the 504 Team, the Student Support Team (SST), the Students in Crisis, the Intervention Support Teachers, Speech & Language Pathologists, Program Coordinator-Student Support, Mental Health Professionals, and classified staff. The Director of Student Support will analyze and manage data to determine school and student needs, creating and supporting programs to establish educationally based multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). The Director will support the development and implementation of academic and social-emotional strategies. The Director will communicate and collaborate with other department leads to ensure that programs are implemented and maintained with best practices. The work location for this position is designated by the supervisor and the job description to include in-person and virtual settings as needed by the School. The selected candidate must be licensed and reside in California. Interviews are scheduled to be held on Monday, June 8, 2026.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience or experience in pupil personnel services • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience • Experience/coursework specializing in intervention • Experience in analyzing and building data spreadsheets • Comfortable with online/virtual meeting platforms • Knowledge of various learning modalities/educational philosophies • Ability to be proactive and innovative
Education • Possess a valid California teaching credential, PPS credential, license in a mental health-related field, or other special education credential (e.g., speech-language pathology or related services) and meet any other credentialing requirements • Possess a valid California Administrative Credential or demonstrate intention to obtain preferred • Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university Required Documents:
