This posting is for an enthusiastic Education Specialist, highly motivated to work with students who have struggled academically throughout their school career. You will have the opportunity to implement engaging instructional strategies and lessons for students who require support with executive functioning and study skills. We are looking for someone who is interested in designing and implementing exciting lessons and passionate about teaching and learning. You will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative work with both our special education and general education teams for lesson planning, data collection and progress-monitoring in order to adjust instruction to maximize the growth of each student in your class and on your caseload. We are looking for a teacher who will design learning opportunities that build upon student knowledge and skills and build excitement among the students encouraging them to come to class and experience the joy of learning – something not always easy with high school students. We value teachers who center their students’ experiences with a culturally responsive approach and truly listen to what students are saying – who create a space for students to be challenged, and who praise their insights and curiosities along the way. We are looking for an experienced, collaborative case manager who is familiar with developing and monitoring IEPs, and invested in their role as case manager for a dynamic group of students with a wide range of strengths and areas of need in special education. Responsibilities will include: - One (1) or two (2) periods of Academic Strategies (Resource) - One (1) or two (2) periods of either push-in or co-teaching in a general ed classroom - IEP Case Management Must hold or be eligible for CA Special Education credentials.

**Teachers hired on Emergency, Intern, or (STSP/PIP) Credentials have a salary range of $56,369 to $72,749** (Credit given for up to 19 years)
