Job Summary

Job Summary

The school psychologist conducts individual assessments for students in the district including screening and evaluating for special programs, assessing student’s intellectual, academic and social-emotional functioning levels, assisting in the evaluation of progress of students in special programs, and providing psychological services to schools. The school psychologist provides information to school and district teams for program development, consults with staff regarding student placement, develops behavioral plans, and provides information on child development and/or issues on specific students to instructional personnel.
