Job Summary

Job Summary

Denair Middle School is a small campus of about 300 students. We take pride in our size because it allows us to build real relationships with our students and their families. While we are small, our Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Program is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated teacher to join us beginning the 2026-27 school year. Our DLI students are working toward becoming fully bilingual and biliterate, with the ultimate goal of earning the California State Seal of Biliteracy. There is strong, genuine support for this program from our administration, the Board, and the local community. California credentialing can be complicated. We are looking for someone authorized to teach both the Spanish language and History in a Spanish bilingual setting. This could look like: Single Subject History with a BCLAD Single Subject Spanish with a History supplemental authorization Multiple Subject with a BCLAD and a History supplemental authorization Not sure if you qualify? If you are fluent in Spanish and interested in the position, please reach out. We are happy to help you figure out if you qualify or what steps you might need to take for a supplemental authorization. We offer the unique opportunity to work in a program that is growing and evolving. If you want to be more than just a face in a large district, if you want to be a known and valued leader in a specialized program, Denair Middle School is your home. Contact Daisy Flores for more information or to discuss your credentials.
