Job Summary
ELD Live is a key component of the English Language Development program. ELD teachers provide targeted instruction, monitor student progress, collaborate with staff, and facilitate assessment processes—including the administration of the ELPAC. ELD Live classes are offered virtually, two to five days per week for 45 minutes per class meeting. ELD Live Teachers will be responsible for teaching virtual classes for assigned grade spans. In addition, ELD Live teachers support English Learners by providing one-on-one and small-group tutoring as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid Multiple or Single-Subject California Teaching Credential with an English Learner authorization (e.g., CLAD, BCLAD, or equivalent) Completed EDJOIN Application Updated resume (no photographs please) Cover letter 3 letters of recommendation (dated with-in one year) All transcripts California Residency Required Preferred Experience: Previous experience administering the ELPAC remotely Bilingual or multilingual proficiency Experience in developing online instructional materials and assessments
