Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) assist in providing speech and language therapy services and assessments to students with communication disorders; follows documented treatment plans developed by credentialed Speech and Language Therapists; performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent • Education: An Associate of Arts degree with a major in Speech and Language Pathology Assistant or a certificate of completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program. • Must be able to provide proof of current registration with the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs Board of Speech-language and Audiology at the time of appointment and maintain current registration throughout employment in this classification. • Valid California Driver's License; Licensed to drive a motor vehicle in the State of California and eligible for insurance under the District insurance carrier in the operation of the District vehicles. • 18 years of age or older.

Current LVUSD employees may submit an application via www.edjoin.org or submit a Classified Job Interest Form to the District Office no later than May 7, 2026, at 4:00 pm (PST).
