English Learner Compliance~ If you don't have an EL (English Learner Authorization) or CLAD (Crosscultural, Language & Academic Development) you will be required to apply for an emergency CLAD permit with the CTC as a condition of employment. During the first year of employment you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization or CLAD certificate by course work, exam or a combination of course work and exam.
