This position is fully remote; however, occasional in-person attendance will be required in Southern and/or Northern California for approximately 2–4 multi-day events per year, with additional events possible as needed. All locations are connected to one job posting; therefore, applicants only need to submit one application for this position. The English Learner (EL) Specialist provides leadership, support, and coordination for English Learner services in a fully virtual independent study high school. This role ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, collaborates with staff to implement effective instructional strategies, and promotes equitable access to academic success for multilingual students..
