Castle Rock Elementary: Grades 3-5 The job of “Teacher-Elementary” is done for the purpose/s of facilitating student success in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

•Ability to collaborate with peers and a strong desire to analyze student data and adjust instruction based on students' needs; •Strong Literacy background and understanding of teaching reading; •Expertise in Guided reading strategies; •Must be willing to work in a collaborative environment with support from staff and administration; •Willingness to learn and use new instructional practices.
