Job Summary
Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director-Student Services, the Education Specialist will support the instructional program for all students and provide academic, behavioral, and social intervention services to identified students. The Educational Specialist shall participate as a member of the educational team that assesses student performance in the areas of disability; develops assessment reports; identifies student abilities within education, developmental, or functional parameters; develops goals and objectives for consideration in the individualized education program (IEP) team meeting, and maintains appropriate documentation and reports. The work location for this position is designated by the supervisor and the job description to include in-person and virtual settings as needed by the School.
