About the Employer

Apogee Sacramento is a Christ-centered, non-profit learning academy based in Folsom, CA currently serving Pre-K through 5th grade students in the Sacramento region, with plans to grow to serve students through 12th grade. Our program offers a uniquely rich experience, equipping young leaders academically, as well as in their character, social-emotional, and spiritual development. Our engaging learning environment combines best practices from several educational approaches with collaborative projects and experiential learning opportunities. Students participate in a mixed-age, studio-style classroom setting where they develop foundational academic skills (math, language arts, science, social studies), while also strengthening critical thinking, responsibility, initiative, teamwork, and communication. Instructors serve as guides and mentors who support students in developing strong academic and social-emotional skills, confidence, character, and practical life skills. In addition to core academic learning, our program incorporates leadership development, physical activity, and real-world projects designed to help students build valuable skills and a strong sense of purpose. Apogee Sacramento operates under the nonprofit organization Legacy Collaborative, which supports programs focused on youth development, education, and leadership formation in the Sacramento area.
