Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS Required: *Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a K–8 school or educational setting. *Demonstrated proficiency in PowerSchool or a comparable student information system (SIS). *Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and compassionately with diverse families and school staff. *Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. *Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive) and Microsoft Office. *Ability to handle sensitive student and family information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. *Knowledge of and commitment to California compulsory education and attendance laws. *Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Preferred: *Familiarity with certified mail processes and California truancy notification requirements. *Prior experience in a charter school or Title I school environment.
