Richmond College Prep is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Instructional Aide to support academic growth, positive behavior, and a safe, joyful school culture. Responsibilities Support classroom instruction through small-group and one-on-one academic support Assist teachers with interventions, lesson reinforcement, and differentiated instruction Reinforce classroom routines, expectations, and positive student behavior Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other school activities Support Homework Center and help students develop strong study habits Assist with conflict resolution and restorative practices Help maintain a safe, positive, and respectful school environment Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success Qualifications High school diploma required; college coursework preferred Experience working with children in schools, youth programs, or childcare settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to support student learning and behavior in a positive, consistent manner Commitment to educational equity and serving a diverse student population Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and actively supervise students throughout the school day Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Salary and benefits based on experience and qualifications.
