The UCA Athletic Coach should have a worldview and vision for athletics in line with the school’s mission and vision statement. We are seeking a coach who is excited to grow and build the program, is excellent at planning and organizing a season with purpose, and has a strong understanding of the sport and the ability to teach and strategize with professionalism and maturity. General Description: The Athletic Coach is responsible for organizing and executing their sport program at United Christian Academy. He/she is responsible for coaching student athletes in competitive playing techniques to prepare them for events and competitions. He/she is to motivate student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport. UCA recognizes our mission as an integral part of the 5-fold ministry given to the church in Ephesians 4:11-13. As such, UCA coaches serve as ministers to help advance the mission and vision of United Christian Academy. Reports to: Athletic Director Grade Levels: Junior High Work Schedule: Approximately 12 - 16 hours per week from August through October. Must arrive on campus by 2:45 pm Position Classification: Seasonal
