Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, the role of the Assistant Principal is support to the Principal in the overall leadership of the school site. The Assistant Principal’s role is to share in the Principal’s responsibilities of managing the school within the Academy’s policies and procedures, supporting academic achievement, and supervising certificated and classified employees assigned to the school.

Employee must be available during the core school hours and must work forty (40) hours each week to maintain full-time status. Work is generally performed during regular work hours and extended evenings and/or weekend hours for extra-curricular events, board meetings, special programs, school site operations, or urgent issues as needed. Willingness to attend and actively participate in school-related events outside of regular school hours, including athletic events, Back-to-School Night, Coffee with the Principal, Open House, and other community engagement activities.
