As a Licensed Health Technician, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Providing first aid and medical care to ensure student health, safety, and readiness to learn. -Delivering specialized physical health care—including catheterization, G-tube feeding and care, insulin administration, emergency medications, and health observations—as directed by a credentialed School Nurse. -Providing occasional toileting support for students, as needed. -Communicating calmly, clearly, and respectfully with students, families, school staff, and district partners. -Exercising sound judgment and ensuring actions align with district policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. -Maintaining accurate, timely health records and reports using district-supported technology systems. -Monitoring compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and mandates. What you need for this position: -High school diploma (or equivalent) -Resume and Letter of Introduction outlining desire and qualifications for this position -Graduation from an accredited school or vocational or registered nursing -Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License issued by the California Board of Vocational Nurses or a licensed that exceeds the requirements of the LVN License -CPR / First Aid Certificate -Valid California Driver's License
