GATEWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT CLASSIFIED VACANCY FOR THE 2026/2027 SCHOOL YEAR: Licensed Mental Health Professional (8.00 hrs/day) Shift Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) SALARY: $89,913 - $109,289 190 workdays Special qualifications including knowledge, skills and abilities: Knowledge of: *Principles and practices and techniques related to mental health counselling for school-aged children and adolescents; *Effective and Current assessments, diagnoses and treatments for school-aged children and adolescents; Ability to: *Guide students in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems. *Encourage students to express their feelings, discuss what is currently happening, has already happened, and is anticipated to happen in their lives, and help them to develop insight into themselves. Experience: *Previous experience as an LMFT, LCMFT, MSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LISW, LSW, LPC, LMHC OR NCC preferably in a school setting. *Previous experience working with parents and community. Education: *Master's Degree Applications must be submitted online through the EdJoin website at www.edjoin.org.

PROCEDURE: The selection process will include an appraisal of individual applications and personal resumes. Candidates receiving the highest ratings will be selected for interview.
