2026–2027 School Year | Paradise Unified School District | The Ridge Paradise Unified School District is proud to welcome Honey Run Academy back to the Ridge for the 2026–2027 school year. As a K–12 Community Day School, Honey Run Academy serves students who benefit from a more structured, supportive, and relationship-centered educational environment. We are seeking a K–6 Teacher who understands that connection comes before content, and that structure, consistency, and care can change the trajectory of a student’s life. This is an opportunity to help build a program from the ground up, where expectations are clear, relationships are intentional, and every student is given the chance to reset and succeed. Position Summary The K–6 Teacher will provide core academic instruction while creating a classroom environment that is structured, supportive, and responsive to the social-emotional and behavioral needs of students. This role requires flexibility, strong classroom management, and a deep commitment to meeting students where they are. Key Responsibilities Deliver standards-based instruction across core subject areas Build strong, trusting relationships with students Establish and maintain clear routines, expectations, and boundaries Implement behavior supports and de-escalation strategies Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic levels Collaborate with staff, administration, and support services Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment Qualifications Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Strong classroom management and behavior support skills Experience working with at-promise or alternative education students preferred Ability to remain calm, consistent, and solution-focused Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success
