About the Role We are seeking two Instructional Aides who are compassionate, steady, and committed to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. You’ll work closely with teachers and staff to create a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment where students feel seen, valued, and supported. What You’ll Do Support classroom instruction across K–12 grade levels Work with students one-on-one and in small groups Reinforce positive behavior and help maintain a structured environment Assist with de-escalation and redirection strategies when needed Help students stay engaged, focused, and on track academically Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet individual student needs Supervise students in classrooms and during transitions What We’re Looking For Individuals who lead with patience, empathy, and consistency Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations Strong communication and teamwork skills A belief that every student deserves a fresh start and a path forward Experience working with youth in structured or alternative settings is a plus Why Honey Run Academy?
