Job Summary
The MTSS Assistant will support the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) at the school site. Reporting directly to the principal, the MTSS Assistant will support students requiring Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions, in academics, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and behavior, and facilitate small group and individual student support. This position plays a vital role in monitoring student progress, assisting in data collection, and supporting academic, behavioral, and SEL interventions.

Comments and Other Information
Substitutes are needed to work on an on-call, as needed basis. A substitute for this assignment may work up to 6 hours per day typically scheduled during school hours Monday - Friday. All classified substitutes shall be paid at step 1 or A1 as indicated on the salary schedule for the assignment they are subbing in. Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI and proof of being cleared of Tuberculosis are required prior to starting employment.
