Job Summary
To The Teacher Assistant will assist the Teacher in the classroom in instruction of children, planning of classroom experiences, and serve as a speech model for children. Receive general supervision from the Site Supervisor. Teacher will assist with supervision, training and organization of other classroom staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Minimum qualifications: • Possess a recognized Child Development Teacher Permit or Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, • Possess an Associate or Baccalaureate degree in Child Development or a related field or is enrolled in a program leading to such a degree, • Completed 12 college units in Child Development or Early Child Development including core classes, plus 50 days of 3+ hours per day within the last 2 years. • Possess three (3) college units in Infant Toddler care. Additional Requirements: • Home Educator II requires 24-39 college units in Child Development or Early Child Development. • Home Educator III requires 40 + college units in Child Development or Early Child Development.

- Copy of Transcript (Completed 12 college units in Child Development or Early Child Development including core classes, 3 units in Infant Toddler care,one year experience in child care.)

- Proof of HS Graduation (Copy of high school diploma or equivalent.)
