Job Summary

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director and Leadership Resident, the Interventionist Instructor is responsible for supporting learner outcomes for identified at promise learners. The Interventionist provides individual or small group instruction to learners who are struggling to meet grade level content standards, develops materials and lesson plans, and evaluates and assesses learner performance. The interventionist will also meet with learners/families and educational facilitators, interpret progress, and inform pertinent parties about learner strengths, weaknesses, and progress. The focus of the intervention specialist is to develop a learner-centered intervention system that effectively works to close the achievement gap in mathematics. The goal of the intervention specialist is to ensure that learners are able to master grade level standards and curriculum.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. CA teaching credential and/or equivalent years of experience. Demonstrate proficiency in technology skills with the ability to learn and use online platforms, systems and software to support learning and record keeping.
