Job Summary
Position Summary The Mentor 3 supports students with classroom interventions, targeted support, and work completion as assigned by the case manager. Mentor 3 is also expected to support appropriate social interactions and intervene prior to escalations in behaviors, mentor students in positive behaviors and executive functioning, and provide academic support at the direction of the case manager. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly, and positive environment for students across all settings in the school environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Communicates effectively with students, families, staff, and external partners Supervises students 1:1 and groups of students ensuring adherence to rules and expectations Implements intervention strategies with fidelity as directed by the case manager Promptly and thoroughly reports safety/behavioral concerns Ensures compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures Actively pursues continuing education, training, and certifications to maintain currency in related practices. Performs any and all other duties as assigned

Required Attachments: Cover letter Resume One Letter of Recommendation **Previous experience working with children, supporting education, is desired.** If offered a position, employment is contingent upon providing proof of: TB clearance, background check, First Aid and CPR certification Training required per state and Federal law for employment in a school setting DOJ and FBI live scan clearance
Employment is contingent upon background clearance, TB clearance, and verification of qualifications Continued employment is contingent upon maintenance of clearances and certifications applicable to this position and satisfactory performance reviews. Employment is subject to applicable board policies, administrative regulations, and school procedures
