We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Job Summary
Job Summary
The Instructional Coach works collaboratively with district and school leadership to implement Continuous Improvement practices and advance site and district goals to improve student outcomes. This role focuses on strengthening Tier 1 core instruction and intervention systems through coaching, co-design, and data-informed practices. The Instructional Coach partners with teachers to co-plan, model, and refine high-quality, standards-aligned instruction that meets the needs of all learners. The coach supports the development and implementation of targeted student support plans and builds teacher capacity through job-embedded professional learning. This position also provides targeted support for new teachers and contributes to the co-planning and co-delivery of districtwide professional development aligned to district priorities. The primary goal of this position is to improve instructional coherence and accelerate learning for all students, particularly English Learners, students with disabilities, and students requiring additional academic support. The Instructional Coach utilizes a non-evaluative, strengths-based coaching approach to support continuous improvement and professional growth. This is an annual position, and it will be reviewed based on the needs assessment and availability of funds.
