Job Summary

Job Summary

The School Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services to students from preschool through Grade 8. The role includes conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling, and consulting with parents, teachers, and administrators to meet the social, emotional, and educational needs of students in both regular and special education programs.

Requirements / Qualifications

Credentialing: Must possess or be immediately eligible for a California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology. Education: A Master’s Degree in School Psychology or a related field is preferred. Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of special education law, psychosocial diagnostic methods, behavior intervention strategies, and a wide variety of assessment instruments. Clearances: Employment is contingent upon Department of Justice (DOJ) fingerprint clearance and evidence of Tuberculosis (TB) clearance. License: Maintain a valid California Driver’s License.
