Job Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Principal, the Paraprofessional (SPED) works alongside Education Specialists and Learning Facilitators and assists in the provision of Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI), scholar support, and assessment for e3 Civic High. The Paraprofessional (SPED) will be active in the school and highly visible to the scholars and staff. See Job Description for more details.

Requirements / Qualifications

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to pass a Department of Justice (DOJ) fingerprint clearance (i.e. Live Scan). - Targeted job-related education that meets the organization's prerequisite requirements. - Job-related experience within a specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility is required. - Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma and CBEST or 2 Years of College experience or Associate's Degree (Paraprofessional I); Bachelor’s Degree (Paraprofessional II) - Legal authorization to work in the U.S. - Prior to the first day of work, provide TB (tuberculosis) clearance, as mandated by the California Education Code.
