Job Summary

Job Summary

The Assistant Director supports districtwide planning, coordination, and implementation of cross-departmental initiatives that advance the District’s instructional, operational, and student-support priorities. This position is not tied to a specific department and functions in a collaborative, system-support role. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Assistant Director helps ensure alignment, coherence, and effective execution of districtwide programs and improvement efforts.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university preferred. • Valid administrative and/or supervisory credential preferred. • Teaching credential and classroom experience preferred. • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in educational leadership, program coordination, or a related field. • Experience working at the site or district level preferred.
