Candidates will work in a progressive, innovative charter school community with grades TK-8. Successful applicants will have experience providing SLP services in a TK-8 setting, writing assessment reports, IEP goals and serving as case managers. The ideal candidate will also have experience utilizing current assistive technology, and facilitating student use of technology in the classroom.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Assessing students for speech-language services under the guidelines for special education services
• Writing assessment reports and IEP goals in the area of speech and language
• Scheduling and running IEP meetings for students who have speech-only IEPs
• Participating in IEP meetings as a member of a team
• Participating in planning and consultation with classroom teachers
• Participating in weekly SPED team meetings
• Willingness to work in a school environment that supports full-inclusion of all students
• Supporting parent education about speech and language development in K-8 students
