QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of: • Budget preparation, procedures and management using appropriate fiscal management. • Principles and practices of student government and related activities. • A wide variety of instructional and behavioral techniques needed to meet the needs of all students. • Classroom procedures which promote appropriate student conduct and motivation for student learning. • Public relations/written and oral communications. Ability to: • Plan, organize, and direct student leadership, activities and programs. • Coordinate events with other staff, departments, and outside agencies. • Analyze and evaluate data for specific use. • Create an instructional program and classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth. • Establish and maintain a variety of accurate record keeping and filing systems. • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with others using tact, patience, and courtesy. • Be flexible, exhibit integrity, and display good independent judgement. • Understand and follow both written and oral directions, policies, and procedures. • Work collaboratively in a team environment. • Meet schedules, timelines, and deadlines. Experience and Education: • Possession of a valid California teaching credential and EL authorization or equivalent • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university • Experience with ASB procedures and the coordination of extracurricular activities is desirable • Fingerprints on file as required by State Law • TB Skin Test as required by State Law.
