Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director, Elementary Education and Chief Academic Officer provides instructional leadership and professional learning at a site and district level in Mathematics; supports the District’s core instructional Mathematics curriculum through direct services to teachers; incorporates literacy expertise in Mathematics and other content areas; coaches others to build efficacy and capacity to teach and support mathematics instruction, and builds teacher capacity to improve Tier 1 instruction, differentiation, and student achievement.

Full-time position includes District paid health, dental, and vision insurance up to a $16,075 district contribution.
Education and Experience: ? A minimum of ?ve (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience ? Demonstrated achievement as an instructional leader with evidence of improving outcomes for diverse student populations. ? Master’s Degree, required, with a preferred emphasis in Mathematics Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related ?eld. ? A valid California Driver’s License, required Knowledge of: ? California Mathematics Framework and Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. ? Literacy strategies integrated within content instruction. ? PLC model and collaborative team processes. ? Continuous improvement and data-driven instructional practices. ? District-adopted instructional programs and assessments. ? Adult learning theory and e?ective professional learning design. ? Coaching strategies that improve teacher practice and instructional e?cacy. ? Di?erentiation strategies for diverse learners. ? Technology tools that support instruction and assessment
