Join our Amazing Team! Under the direction of the Head of School, the ELD Intervention Teacher supports students by leading intervention classes. The Intervention Teacher will develop lesson plans and provide direct instruction for intervention. In addition, the Intervention Teacher will provide data for SST and 504 meetings and communicate with parents, teachers, staff regarding progress or further interventions needed. The Intervention Teacher may also assist general education teachers with the selection of appropriate curricula and the development and implementation of appropriate strategies. Requirements / Qualifications
A California Clear or Preliminary teaching credential in the assigned subject area(s) and a valid English Learner Authorization are required. Resume 3 Reference Letters Copy of Transcripts Copy of Credential Copy of Degree Unofficial Transcripts/Official transcripts required upon being hired Copy of Credential(s) Recent and relevant professional development in teaching and learning Experience and/ or knowledge of backward planning to develop learning units Proven ability to work in an urban school environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
