Job Summary

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher provides specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This role focuses on developing students’ communication, language, academic, and social-emotional skills while ensuring access to the general education curriculum. The DHH teacher collaborates with staff, families, and service providers to create inclusive and effective learning environments.

Requirements / Qualifications

· Valid teaching credential in Deaf and Hard of Hearing with BCLAD/CLAD authorization · Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred depending on program · CPR Certification required or willingness to obtain · Three to five years of classroom experience with DHH students · CPR / First Aid certification required or willingness to enroll in program
