Job Summary
Directly reports to the school site principal. The Chemistry Teacher develops and delivers a rigorous, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) aligned curriculum, covering topics like atomic structure, stoichiometry, and reactions. They are required to instruct students in a creative, hands-on approach, while managing a safe laboratory environment. Providing supporting diverse learners, and implementing safety protocols for chemical handling.
Requirements / Qualifications
· Possession of a valid Single Subject Chemistry credential with a CLAD/BCLAD authorization · Required experience teaching AP Chemistry and/or willingness to be trained in AP · CPR / First Aid certification required or willingness to enroll in program
