Job Summary
Under direction of the Superintendent or designee, plan, organize, coordinate, and manage the District's food service program; provide direct oversight of the kitchen and cafeteria including preparation and serving of meals and beverages and dining room readiness; assure efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance with District, State and federal requirements regarding nutrition, sanitation, safety and record-keeping; train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination equivalent to two years of college-level course work in child nutrition, food service management or related field and five years of increasingly responsible experience in quantity food preparation, including lead or supervisory experience.
