Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, provide adapted physical education services to special education students in District programs; prepare lesson plans and instruct individual and group activities; screen and observe students during classroom and physical education activities. Assess students and write appropriate IEP goals and objectives.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: -Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential in Adapted Physical Education -Valid California Class C Driver’s License -First Aid and CPR Qualified -Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention (NCPI) certification preferred
