Job Summary
Directly reports to the school site principal. A middle school Dual Language Social Science Teacher (grades 6–8) is responsible for delivering a standard-based social studies curriculum while simultaneously fostering bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural competence. In this role, the teacher instructs students in both English and in Spanish to ensure high levels of academic achievement in subjects like history, geography, and civics.

• Possession of a valid Single Subject Social Science/History credential with a BCLAD authorization • Bilingual and Biliterate in Spanish • Native or native-like Spanish speaker • CPR / First Aid certification required or willingness to enroll in program
