Seeks to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability and service to his Kingdom. Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English Language Arts-related field of study from an accredited university or college required Master’s degree and/or California teaching credential, previous AP instruction desirable Ability to effectively teach English Language Arts essentials Command of subject matter and ability to wisely engage students, as demonstrated through quality experience, is desirable Ability to comply with both written and oral instructions Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills Proficiency in demonstrating effective organizational skills Self-motivated Desire to serve in co-curricular activities, such as athletics or arts, is welcomed Obtain a certificate of negative result for TB screening before hire Cleared live scan background check Areas of Expected Proficiencies: Passionately and effectively teach courses in the field of English Language Arts, including but not limited to English Literature, Language, and Composition Maintain classroom control that fosters a safe, positive environmen
