THE OPPORTUNITY: Salesian College Preparatory is seeking a full-time science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. ACCOUNTABILITY: • Teach high school science classes, including but not limited to biology. • Upholds and models a moral code which is consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the Salesian mission. JOB SKILLS / BEHAVIORAL SKILLS REQUIRED: • Proficiency with technology integration in the classroom • Strong classroom management skills • Skills in designing and revising authentic, culturally relevant, standards-based lesson plans for high school students • Highly organized, goal-oriented, and focused on learning outcomes • Educating students on lab safety and ensuring all experiments are carried out responsibly • Ability to design a wide range of performance assessments aligned with lesson plans, instruction, and unit objectives QUALIFICATIONS • BA or higher in a science related field or a related discipline preferred • CA Teaching Credential preferred • Teaching experience in secondary education preferred SALARY & BENEFITS • Full Time Exempt • Salary Range: $60,220- $104,800 DOE • On-site (no remote option) TO APPLY: Please submit the following to application@salesian.com. • Cover letter that expresses your interest and fit for leading a Catholic high school • Current resume that includes dates for all degrees, certifications, and experience
