CASTLE ROCK ELEMENTARY: Grades 3-5 Brief Job Summary: The job of “Teacher – Special Education” is done for the purpose/s of facilitating Special Education student success in academics, interpersonal skills and activities of daily living through implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing specific needs of student; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

•Ability to employ a variety of teaching methodologies including direct/differentiated instruction to meet varying skill levels and academic needs; •Knowledge of SEIS system; •CPI trained or willingness to be trained; •Ability to collaborate with staff; •Effective communication and organizational skills.
