Job Purpose Statement/s Under the direction of the designated administrator, provides direct support in the effective use of classroom instructional strategies, uses data to help improve student achievement and educational programs, engage in activities to align curriculum, specialized programs and instruction to State and District identified standards. Work completed will follow the tenets outlined in the identified requirements of the assigned program. This includes but is not limited to pupil services, specialized programs and special education. Program activities will involve but not limited to; coaching, observing, modeling and providing guidance to participating individuals. Establish good relationships with students, parents, and other staff members, and conduct other related duties as directed.
Requirements / Qualifications
BCBA Certification is highly desirable Letter of Introduction Letter of Recommendation (at least 3 within the Last 12 months) Resume Must hold a Valid California Teaching Credential of either of the following credentials listed below: Mild/Moderate Support Needs Extensive Support Needs or hold Bridge Credential for either EL Authorization required

The East Whittier City School District provides educational opportunities (transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, including special education) for approximately 8,600 children. The District employs approximately 1,075 teachers, administrators and support staff. We have 13 schools which operate on a traditional school year schedule.
