Position Summary: Elementary Teacher (Grade Level TBD) Cayucos Elementary School, known as the Best Little Beach School, is seeking a dedicated and student-centered elementary teacher to join our TK–8 team. The selected candidate will foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. The elementary teacher will provide high-quality, standards-based instruction across core subject areas, using data-informed practices to meet the diverse needs of learners. This includes implementing differentiated instruction, integrating visual and performing arts, and promoting critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. The teacher will actively monitor student progress, utilize assessment data to guide instruction, and participate in collaborative planning with grade-level teams and support staff. At Cayucos School, we value strong relationships and a whole-child approach to education. The ideal candidate will build meaningful connections with students, families, and colleagues, contributing to a supportive and cohesive school culture. Responsibilities also include participation in school-wide initiatives, student support teams, and ongoing professional learning. Grade level assignment will be determined based on candidate strengths, experience, and school needs.
